Exactly what we were looking for to shoot real estate interiors. Prime quality and room wide but not too wide so as to distort the image. We shoot executive groups with from 15=30 people in the shot- sometimes indoors and sometimes outdoors. Spent some time on deciding whether to go with a short zoom or a single prime. Happy we chose the prime. Nice to look through and nice to look at. Nice little lens for the price. 5 |

Wanted a prime lens for video with my Nikon Z6ii and this one is all I need for 90% of my work. 5 |

I am very happy with the features of this tripod. Although I have only used it twice as I just got it and I don't have other video tripod use experience, this is what I was wanting. I use a 600mm prime lens and camera body that weighs about 13-14lbs and it works just fine. 5 |

Purchase to replace a low end prime lens for my main video camera, AF is quiet has very little noticeable breathing. Lens is compact and light weight and great picture. 5 |

I purchased this product on the 15th of August to be a prime lens with my brand new AR7 III. I didn't have a lot of funds after purchasing the camera body and since I am using my camera primarily for video I decided the best way to get started was with a prime lens. I am extremely pleased with the results. Using an ND 8 filter, I am able to shoot almost exclusively in the F2 range never going beyond F2.8 under full sun conditions. This lens also kills in low-light situations. A few nights ago I was listening to a podcast on how to configure settings for my camera. I had the camera in front of me, and I decided to let it record as I was playing with the settings. The only light in the room was coming from my computer monitor. I started playing with the settings and once I adjusted the shutter speed the camera could clearly show what the rest of the room looked like including a resin statue with a lot of detail. The picture clearly showed the darkness along with everything in the darkness. I couple of classmates got to see this video, and they were like "Holy smoke your camera does night vision!" I recommend the following things to get more mileage out of this lens: 1. Invest in a UV and Polarizing filter (the lens is a 49 mm lens). 2. Get yourself a ND filter set: at least ND8, ND32, and ND 64. These will serve you well when you are shooting in full sun because they will let you keep your aperture open at its maximum setting. 3. Take advantage of the hood that comes with lens. 4. When shooting at night don't use any of the ND lenses, consider the Polarizing filter. 5. Definitely use a tripod, rig or gimble when shooting with this lens because it doesn't have image stabilization. 5 |

It's an ND filter and seems fine. I've not used it extensively for video yet, but it seems fine. It is for an Oly 17-mm prime. 5 |

I got this for my R7 to have a 50-55 prime and it works great! I shoot video, so the stabilization works very well. Since this is also a macro, it's nice being able to get up close for detail work and focuses fast. It's hard to see the difference between this an L lens. It's very good and an amazing value. 5 |

I've got a couple of small prime lenses that are great for shooting video. So, with a couple of inexpensive step-up rings, I can use my 67mm polarizer and variable neutral density filters to shoot wide open in sunshine. 5 |

If you currently shoot the Canon or Nikon prime lenses, you are in for an upgrade at 1/4 the price. This lens is extremely sharp edge to edge, virtually no halos. The boca is more desirable than any other lens we have seen for under $25K. If you didn't know it you would use the lens then watch the video and think you were filming on a lens costing thousands more. At T1.5 it is completely sharp and amazing. Very solid. Very well built. It works great for stills as well, sharper, better that our Canon RF primes 100% of the time. I love Canon Products but this stomps them in the Cine lens department and for video, the USM lenses are lack luster at best. Give it a shot, you will thank me and B&H. 5 |
