Primera Z1 Thermal Printer

Love my primera products. I own a Primera Ip60 and have nothing but wonderful experiences. To those coming from dye sub printers (I multiple as well) this IP60 printer is versatile. It's super light compared to my due subs and provides stellar pictures. The ink has never been an issue, but is dependant on how colorful your template designs are. Printer is new, it prints in various sizes 2x6, 4x6, 6x6, and 6x20 panoramic is what I have used the most. The convinice of having single prints on strips saves money. This is a great product. Word of advise, unlike dye sub printers, you do not need to remove the ink before transport. Leave it in the unit or purchase a garage to keep it from drying out. Inks is vibrant and awesome... No complaints. Glad I jumped on this printer for my mirror and iPad based photo booths.

I use this on a Primera Bravo Pro Disc printer the ink is expensive but with the proper design of a label with a good share amount of white space on the disk the extended cartridge produce an excellent quality end product and produces more disc. The printable disc prevents labels from coming off in the drives. The ink is hard to find and B&H has the best price on this product that I have found. This the black extended cartridge and you will use about a third less of these cartridges verses the colored

I received the Primera SE-3 printer 11 days ago and have printed 41 CD's with 9 different designs, so far. This printer replaced an Epson XP-830, which (finally) died. The SE-3 is a terrific printer. I should have switched years ago, but the cost of the SE-3 caused me to procrastinate. The SE-3 works very well, and is fast. No fumbling with lining up the CD correctly, as with the Epson. Just drop a new CD into the bin and push print. It is fascinating to watch it work through the semi-transparent cover. The software is very intuitive, and provides every feature one would need, including all colors, straight or circular text, resizable text and photos, adjustable inner and outer margins, backgrounds which can be solid color, predefined pattern, a photo, or variable intensity. The printer does not waste ink, as did the Epson. The ink cartridge does not dry out, however, I am using the printer every few days. But that will change after Christmas. I give the printer 5 stars. And B&H got the printer to me in only 3 business days!

Works great with my Primera Bravo Disc Printer. Haven't had any issues with these disks when burning in our duplicator either.
