Printing With Only Black Cartridge Canon Pixma Mg2120

It is easy to get the Pixma IP 1600 to print just from the black cartridge, sooo for literally years that is exactly what we have done. But after reunion we found ourselves with over 100 snap shots that demanded to be printed. We had to buy the CL-41 color cartridge - but would we get reasonable printing after all these years? Well - not to worry - the printer and the CL-41 are printing great. Any deficiencies in these photos are solely and sadly the fault of the cameraman. Nice printer, convenient color cartridge, we will be buying more - thanks Canon.

The LaserJet CB435A Black Print Cartridge is a great cartridge. I use the cartridge for home printing needs. Prints lots of pages even after lengthy periods of no or little use. Can be pricey depending on retailer, but I feel that it is worth the cost as it is very reliable.

CLI-8BK Black Ink Cartridge, included in the PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II printer package, is a handy spare. I understand this ink is good for 100 years. I'll never know for sure, but this aspect of long lasting quality is a pleasant thought.

Simply the best option when you have a Canon PIXMA 9000 MkII (like me) for printing pics.

I am not having a problem with the cartridge. The problem that I am having is the printer is only printing black not color. How can I correct this problem?

This is the largest black cartridge in my Canon MX870 printer.

This type of cartridge is used in the Pixma PRO-100, the Canon printer I love most, as it takes heavy paper without blinking, and the high resolution printing colors are lovely.

I recently purchased the Canon PIXMA iX6820 Wireless Inkjet Printer and one of the reasons was that it only requires a 4-cartridge ink set, which sells for a very decent price.

I always liked the robustness of Canon printers, but my 15-yr old PIXMA ink cartridge printer was no longer working as a scanner with my MacBook. I made the mistake of buying an Epson inkjet- hated it, ridiculously small display, poor printing quality, and constantly plugged print heads. This Canon MF462dw is built like a tank, incredibly priced, and setup was instantaneous on my network. Couldn't be happier!
