I have the Leica Duovids, which are my baseline for comparing any other binoculars to when I am on Safari, usually once a year. I purchased the Zeiss and had them on safari with me Jan 2018, together with my Leicas. I have no hesitation in recommending the Zeiss, and for the price, have great clarity, sharpness, and colour. Compared to my Leicas, I honestly love them both, equally, and are Zeiss are the perfect companion on safari as they are fairly compact.

Bought to protect front glass on Rokinon 800mm f/8.0 Mirror T-Mount Lens. Fits perfectly, and I now have peace of mind to protect the lens and keep the front glass clean from dust.

Mounted on my Panasonic DC-FZ80 (containing a 1200mm FF-equivalent zoom lens) the filter allowed me to photograph sunspots from Staten Island during the 2024 eclipse. Pre-eclipse photo: F/8.0, ISO100, 1/640. Moon eating sunspot: F/8.0 ISO100, 1/400 shot through high clouds. Both deliberately underexposed and slightly lightened in Lightroom.

Light, sharp, great autofocus. The relatively high aperture (5.6 to 8.0) is not really a problem with the RF bodies, as they can easily work at high ISO.
