Private Browsing Safari Mac Yosemite

Very happy with purchase. Using with 2008 Mac Pro running Yosemite

I bought this to replace my Datavision DAC 100 that no longer works with Yosemite (as far as I could figure), to transfer wireless TX-RX CCTV feed, but also like that it can be used for much higher resolution video when needed. People complained about the noise, but after installing the card into my Mac Pro, it whined for the first 2 minutes and then was quiet after that. On a Mac Pro 2010 + Yosemite, you do have to match your resolutions in the system preferences with those in your capture software to get results-this can be a pain until you figure it out. I use NTSC/PAL 8 bit, composite input and output. On my system it works with QuickTime, Final Cut 5, Security Spy by Bensoft, MaxMSP, and FaceTime. Use the green Y-in and Y-out when using RCA inputs and outputs. I even resurrected my old Sony analog TV to view wildlife video in the field real time!

Bought this for my wife, who needed a new Mac laptop. She primarily uses a computer for browsing the Ethernet, doing Word documents, etc.. She loves the bigger screen and the M2 MacBook Air is pretty snappy for what she does. I loved the price over a MacBook Pro that wasn't needed for her use.In fact I have learned that I don't need the most powerful Mac computer for 95% of my usage.

Used mainly for Photoshop and Aperture, plus some general business applications and web browsing. Much faster than the old G5 iMac it replaced. This thing screams in comparison. Plus it can use the most current Mac-Intel applications and operating systems. I immediately upgraded to 10MB ram which should be ample for any use I care to put it to. This is a very quiet computer, even with the fan running. and also has lots of ports on the front and rear for firewire, usb, and audio connections. I usually get 5+ years out of my Mac computers and the build quality on this one seems exceptional. I know the aluminum case has been around for a while, but it still looks very cool. What other computer out there looks this good?

took two seconds to install, immediately recognized and no more paging, so now I have a million (like 48) safari tabs open and use Logic Pro X and apple tv going and it doesn't even flinch, yep I actually bought this again to max out my memory, its already shipped, not sure what else to say about memory other than its a must upgrade for any mac with only 8 gigs of memory (which is terrible unless you are spending thousands of dollars on a mac to only look up directions). 2017 iMac 27 inch 5k 3.4g i5

I used this in Yosemite to get a slower shudder speed on rivers and waterfalls.
