The UI to access the settings of the router is a step up from my really old one that I upgraded. It's nice to have a router that should, in theory, keep up better with future internet speeds, and ASUS's supposed updates for old routers give me some peace of mind, whether it pans out to be true or not. The only thing I wish it could do is stand vertically. The space where my router lives requires this, so it's currently sitting awkwardly on its edge. From all my comparisons, this one looked to be the best ASUS router for the money, and I think I'll be very satisfied with it for a long time. 5 |

I moved to an area that has 1gb internet speeds and while happy with my 5 year old Asus router, I decided to get this new one. Set was easy via the app. Router is performing great in my small house. Another satisfying Asus product. 5 |

I replaced my Google Mesh router and access points with this ASUS router and it’s been working great! I have an 1800 sq foot 2 story house and it covers my whole house, plus the backyard. Speeds are great and so far, no intermittent connectivity. I’ll report back in a few months if it starts to have any issues. 5 |

I needed internet access in an old building next to my house. It is too far away from my house to be supported by my wireless router. However, it does share electrical wiring with my house. Running new Cat5 cables was not a good solutions for a variety of reasons so I decided to try TP-Link's AV100 Gigabit Powerline Starter kit. The setup was very easy, basically plug and play. The price was very affordable. While not as fast as a direct connection, it still meets my needs. 5 |
