When I saw this mega 16TB hard drive listed on sale for $269.99, I had to jump on it. That's $16.87 per TB of storage! And with using B&H's Payboo credit card, I didn't have to pay a 8% state sales tax, which was a big plus and a further discount. This WD Elements drive is just as I expect - a solid performer that doesn't disappoint. On average, data transfer rate is up there at over 150mb/sec. At times it even hit 200mb+/sec. I have yet to find reliability as an issue with WD drives as I have never had a WD drive that failed on me - unlike Seagate, which I have quite a few of them lying around being used as paperweights! 5 |
