Privileged Password Management Solutions

Easy integrated management with UniFi: If you're already running another UniFi device and have a pre-existing instance of the UniFi Controller, adopting this switch and making the necessary adjustments to its configuration are very intuitive and a breeze. Provisioning VLANs and assigning per-port configurations are far more complex in other vendor's UIs and solutions. At a glance, you can quickly discern connected MAC address, link speed, and whether or not PoE is in use. Configuration changes apply quickly with no disruption. Updating firmware revisions is also incredibly simple. No additional steps with other protocols/solutions are required as long as you have a running UniFi controller. 5 |

When it comes to attached storage solutions for audio and video editing this is the best option I have used yet, and I have tried a lot. I primarily use a Mac Studio at this time as my revision 5,1 Mac Pro's have pretty much been retired at this point. A Mac Studio is great but lacks the storage capacity to be able to house data. After trying a plethora of external devices I ordered this Flex 8 and have to say, this thing has some power. I installed four 10TB NAS hard drives I had as a backup in a Raid array in an existing Mercury Rack Pro (USB 3.1, so I wanted to replace that for performance purposes) and then I added three 18TB NAS drives in a RAID array. That gave me 30TB of usable space on the first array and 36TB on the 2nd. Then I added an OWC Shuttle with four 4TB memory modules and I combined those into a RAID array as well, giving me 16TB of usable space. This one tower now provides me with 82TB of space and gets rid of all of the external drives and devices I had connected to my MAC Studio. Regarding performance, it's flawless. I am editing off the 16TB array which is blazing fast. I couldn't be happier with a device as I am with this one. The best part is the PCIE slot which is available for use. I'm looking forward to experimenting with that in the near future. This has really completed my edit bay setup as well as offered me a solid solution for data management. I highly recommend this unit for localized data management. It is very powerful and very well thought out. I also do like the software version as it puts the control at your fingertips. I hops this review helps someone looking for data management solutions. 5 |

I spent a long time looking into various 5.1 surround bass management solutions that would work with regular Windows audio as well as audio through a DAW for studio and game development use. There are various software solutions for each, but most would not give consistent results between Windows system and DAW audio. I started looking for either a bass management hardware unit (some add latency) or a surround controller with bass management (way more expensive than this sub), then came upon the few Genelec subwoofers which have built-in surround bass management. I only have a 5.1 surround system so I chose this sub, and am happy I did so. While the cost is higher than I would like, there aren't that many other subs that handle surround bass management, and it handles both bass management and LFE duties well. The manual is comprehensive, and there are little switches and a knob on the side that allow you to customize rolloff, boosts, power saving, 4 phases, and sensitivity. Noise floor is very low, and it pumps out enough oomph for my calibrated small home studio even with the largest rolloff as well as the lowest input sensitivity. I'm not using it to shake the house, but rather to hear the lowest frequencies correctly while mixing and listening to all kinds of stuff. It's also smaller than some other subs, and that's a plus for my room as well. I don't really have anything to complain about for this sub other than Genelec's pricing, but since there are few subs that handle surround bass management and I didn't find any cheaper than this, it is what it is. Great product. 5 |

My wife's passion is gardening, mine is photography. I feel privileged to be surrounded by plants and flowers all day and able to pick just the right moment when the grazing sunlight reveals the full beauty of a flower. Much of the action occurs close to the ground and before I get on my knees I have to do some strategic planning on how to return eventually to an upright position. I thought a chapeau claque like stool that supports my weight would be a very good idea. To my delight there is such a thing on B&H's website. I have used it on several occasions now; it is sturdy, it is light and collapses magically to a thickness of just a couple of inches, 2 1/2 actually. If there were a category for the most useful, unexpected photo accessories, this one deserves the prize. 5 |

Every so often you come across a piece of gear that you feel privileged to use; the RF 85 f/1.2 is a great example of that. If you own one, you know exactly what I mean; if you don’t, there’s only one way to find out. Is it large? Sure but not ungainly so. Expensive? You bet. Worth it? Most definitely. Most lenses help you to recreate images of what you see through the viewfinder, this one creates art. 5 |

Hi, we’re Apple. You should feel privileged we’re selling you this expensive computer that is two generations behind the latest processor. Oh, you want more than 128GB hard drive? Please give us your first born to upgrade. Like the title says, I love MacOS but hate Apple. If this was just running Win10, the hardware woulkd be considered out of date in spite of the new butterfly keyboard, which still feels cheap. 5 |

I only recommend APC going forward as there have been too many other solutions that are not as dependable. 5 |
