I own a semi pro studio in Ransomville NY. I have tried other so called isolation headphones. The CAD DH100 phones reject outside noise better than some of the more expensive name brand models. Most drummers that record here go out and buy their own, once they use them. Buy a set...you won't be disappointed. 5 |

I work in pro tools a lot during my commute and they sound better using my laptop's headphone out than any other studio headphones I've tried yet. Plus the short cable rocks as well! 5 |

If your needs are anything less than a professional recording studio, these are the headphones for you. 5 |

This was my second pair of AT headphones. I still have and use the AT-M50, but needed to have a back up pair on hand. I love the M50 for their comfort, ergonomics, and listening pleasure. The new M50X has all of that and maybe they are just a little smoother; perhaps richer sounding - either way I really like them. I have a 1,400.00 pair of reference headphones and these are not that; no the ATs are just the ones I enjoy the most. As for the Crane Laptop Stand - so far so good. It is rather difficult to set up and collapse, but is very stable and I love the adjustability. When closed, it takes up a remarkably small amount of space in my work box. It is fitting my needs and I have no regrets at all. 5 |

I own the Audio-Technica M50, M40, and M30. The M50 is, and should be, the best set of headphones of the bunch. If you're considering between the 3 of them, I would recommend investing a little more and going with the M50. 5 |

This product ATH-M50 White has really impressed me in many ways. It is very comfortable, meaning you can monitor or listen for hours. Great for Studios/Monitoring. It has great bass, I'll explain the Lows, Mids and Highs below: Highs: Very crisp/natural Mids: Perfectly balanced Lows: Great bass, not too much not too low. Bass is only there is bass is present in the track you're listening to. Below is the genre these headphones are recommended for: Dubstep Rap (Most tracks) Any genre of rock Jazz Blues R&B Pop My personal opinion: These are the best on-a-budget headphones you can get for the amazing low price. Wayyyyyy better than the Beats by Dr. Dre Pro or any other celebrity headphone. They're stylish, a great alternative to the Beats by Dr. Dre if you were considering the Beats by Dr. Dre for looks. They're very comfortable, after using them for 10 minutes, you forget you even put them on. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone. The cable is very durable but the only Con would be it's NOT removable, but they make up for this with a very durable thick cable. GET THE COILED CABLE IT'S MUCH MORE PORTABLE THAN THE STRAIGHT CABLE! They easily fold up and can be put into the carrying pouch that comes with it. One last thing is the ear cups swivel 180 degrees What comes with the ATH-M50 White: 1. White carrying pouch 2. Screw-on 1/8" to 1/4" GOLD-PLATED Studio Plug/Adapter 3. ATH-M50 White headphones (Coiled Cable) 5 |

It took me more then 2 weeks to find the right headphones and finally ath-m50 was finalized. Then I spend few days to find the retailer who sells these and I finally found one which was 50km away from my house. After buying it I tried it in my car and I was not satisfied with it because of sound quality. I went home and tried it again and after few mins the sound got better and better and I must say these headphones completed my music. I had beats before but they hurt my ears after using it for awhile. These headphone gave me a comfort and amazing sound quality. One day I 4got I had them on my head. Love this product!! I give you 9/10 because the con is It took me days to find it. :D Just to let you know the reason it didn't sound so good in the start was because my car was turned on and noise outside probably made me think it sound bad!! 5 |

I never write reviews. But I liked the service from B&H so much, that I want to help them promote these. If you're a little bit into headphones and audio or currently researching, you'll most likely come across one name: Audio Technica M50-X. They are widely known as an affordable (around 150$), professional headphone for studio monitoring and DJ-ing. Their fanbase is massive. But if you keep digging, you find a few people who say hold on. M40's are the way to go. I listened to this minority and joined them. I listened to both M50's and M40's (also M30's but I think they don't matter in this comparison). I was looking for a closed back, over ear headphone with a flat sound signature, because I already got bass cans (Sony MDR 1-A) and I wanted to use them as a DJ headphone. Over all, I think the sound signature of the M50's is far to bassy. It's fun to listen to, but such a headphone can't call himself a studio/monitoring headphone. The M40's on the other hand, are far more neutral. No emphasis on bass or highs, they tell you how it is (as far as 90$ cans can do that). Yes, the M50's have a bigger driver, but bigger isn't always better. I like the sound of the M40's even more than the Sony MDR-7506 or the Sennheiser HD25 (both have a legendary status in their field). Beside the sound, the M40's earcups swiffle, so you can DJ with one ear open to the PA. Clamping force is alright, pads are maybe a little bit stiff. With it come 2 cables, one coiled. Also a 6,3mm adapter and a nice bag. Love my set and will use them as my DJ equipment. 5 |
