Pro Recording Keyboard On Computer In Audacity
Matthew | 0000-00-00 00:00:00 |
Perfect, no nonsense converting. Been recording from tape to computer using Audacity. Feels well built too, and connections feel nice and sturdy. Powered by the USB, so no power cord to worry about. Not much else to say, it just gets the job done and is easy as can be. Plug in the source, adjust the gain, record on computer. Just what I was looking for. 5 |

I purchased this drive for my Korg Pro Arranger Keyboard. I didn't want a long flash drive sticking out of the USB port on the keyboard and I wanted one just for my keyboard. This drive is totally out of the way while providing space to transfer my music files between my computer and keyboard. With this I never worry about anything hitting it and breaking my port and I don't have to ever remove it unless I need to transfer files to my computer or copy update files back to my keyboard. Keyboard recognized it swiftly and formatted it. So far I'm extremely happy with this drive. 5 |

The Apple Wireless Keyboard is a convenient way of saving the use my keyboard on my Mac Book pro. I also love the grey steel color because it matches my computer. It truly makes a fashion statement. I bought the keyboard to save the use of my computer keyboard. 5 |

Great microphone for beginners. My wife and I were able to get a decent recording on our first try, using the Audacity DAW. I will mention that the mic is quite sensitive. We had to shut down all the in-operation electric devices in the room plus a fan that runs 24-7. The mic picks up everything in the nearby area! Plan to keep using it for our Christmas recording project. Nice job, Blue!! 5 |

We bought this pipe audio from a lavalier to our iMac running Audacity, our use case for lecture recording. We had to return it because the monitor knob would only work if you pressed it in but hiccups like that are normal for hardware purchases. The new one has worked flawlessly for over a year and we have had zero complaints. One particular oddity is that the gain on the input channels tends to get exponentially higher the more we go. I noticed it to see if I could get more sound into Audacity (that program normal input range seems to be rather small, huh). This isn't a problem as much as it could be a noobish understanding of how to do a recording with Audacity. the particular feature I love is how you can plug either the normal TRS connectors or the balance mic connectors into the same input; that gives you much freedom on your setup. 5 |

I have been recording my record collection using the ART USB Phone Plus Preamp with USB and Audacity software. It is working well. I particularly like the solid construction and easy to use controls. 5 |

This thing did exactly what it was supposed to. USB to PC. Audacity recording. Mp3 from tape. Worked right out of the box with no issues. 5 |

I plugged it in, started up my Audacity and was recording within seconds. The variety of choices as far as pattern, gain, headphone output and volume control are very useful. If you wanted you could even plug this into an analog mixer! One of the nicest feature is the heavy stand that comes with it - very stable, or it's threaded for a regular mic stand.I did one simple recording in my kitchen (a lot of reverb / echo, I usually have to record in the closet) the microphone pinpointed my voice and did not pick up the ambient room sound. A fine piece of podcaster / broadcaster equipment. 5 |

We bought this mainly for piano recording. We had a Rode Videomicro and used it with a Sony a6400. Our dilemma was that to get good sound quality, the mic has to be placed very close to the piano. But when we did so, the sound became distorted even when we set the gain level to the minimum. As a beginner, we focused our research on hand-held recorders, and Zoom H6 has the best upgrade potential if we decide to get better mics in the future for a more elaborate recording setup. The primary concern, however, was the quality of the included mic because there are not many reviews of the mic (if any) online. I'm happy to report that the quality of the recording with the include mic is very good. We recorded directly into the SD card, edited with Audacity, and combined with the video with Hitfilm. We recorded at the foot of the grand, just outside the piano with the lid half open. Gain was set at 4 and normalized after recording either within H6 or using Audacity. We also like the versatility of H6. We used it as an audio interface for gaming and for virtual piano lessons. People on the other side told us the sound improved markedly. 5 |
