I have a 2016 MacBook Pro. With the 1 USB-C cable provided with the monitor, I'm able to send the video and audio signal to the monitor, use the monitor's USB hub, and charge my MacBook, all through the 1 cable. I selected the preset "text mode" on the monitor, since I'm a software engineer that looks at text all day. It's very crisp and easy on the eyes. I have it vesa mounted to my desk. So far, I've had no issues with this monitor. I'm very impressed!

I am a pro video editor and I really have not much to add to the other reviewers about how great this monitor is. My BenQ started to leak light on the left vessel and I decided to get an Ultra Wide for the first time. I couldn't be happier, the 300 cd/m2 of brightness are not a problem for me, since I edit in a dark environment. However, the one think I do not like about this monitor is how glarey it is. Not a deal breaker, because all I gotta do is to shut the light behind me off. Consequently, this could be an issue for you depending on your environment. Keep that in mind. Check the attached pictures to see for yourself how much glare you get if you have a bright light behind you. Other than that minor issue, everything is on par with all the other reviews and this is a fantastic, true 5k2k monitor. I use it with my PC and with my M1 Ultra Mac Studio. Pro Tip: to enjoy the true 5120 x 2160 resolution on your Mac, you need to download an app called 'EasyRes' because at the time of writing this review, there's no other way to do it. If in doubt: get it. It is likely the best monitor you will be able to get in 2023 for this kind of money for sure.

I have been using the monitor for about 2wks with no issue. Good to go out of the box. Using with a Mac book pro for video and photo editing.

being able to monitor what audio goes into the camera is an essential part of recording pro video. I run with a zoom H4N and I like the piece of mind of piping the audio into the camera as a secondary backup in case something goes wrong. This little cable allows a direct line signal to record beautifully into a DSLR while giving the option to plug in headphones and make sure you're getting no peaking.

This was recommended by B&H when I picked up an on-camera video monitor for a pro rig Sony video system. The arm articulates completely, is easy to lock into position with one twist, and seems very secure, so far.

I'm using this monitor for video editing via Adobe Premiere Pro, graphic/print editing via Photoshop and Illustrator. The color accuracy and image clarity is stunning! I have the monitor connected to an NVidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti on a DisplayPort. This monitor is worth the cost.

Switching from pro video cams to 5d mkII drove me crazy since I could not monitor audio. With this little jewel you can monitor your H4N in real time while still feeding your 5d mkII an audio signal. It is a simple splitter, one side is a tap that you plug your phones into, the other feeds the camera. It has a pad which knocks down the line feed 25db so you can hear your audio but still feed a nice level to your camera. The build quality is top notch.

I bought two of these to use with my MacBook Pro M1 Max as a video editing workstation. ***Note that the only way I was able to display 4K at 60 hertz on both monitors simultaneously was to plug BOTH monitors directly to the MacBook via USB-C to DisplayPort cables. Once I did that and stopped trying to get them to work through the Thunderbolt 4 Dock I have, everything looks excellent.*** The resolution is great, as I can have Premiere Pro open on both monitors with one of the two showing the footage in the program window at close to actual size, which helps to see all the detail of the 4K image while editing. Colors look really good, and while this isn't a reference monitor designed for color grading Hollywood movies, it's plenty accurate for my videography work. Aside from video editing, text is super sharp and crisp, and photos and websites look excellent. Since it's an LCD, black levels are never going to look as inky black as they do on an OLED display, but that's to be expected. You can always get a small OLED TV to use as a makeshift client reference monitor. I originally wanted the Apple Studio Display, but at $1600 for one monitor, it was way too expensive for me. On Black Friday, I was able to snag TWO of these Asus ProArt 27 displays for under $800. That's less than half of ONE Apple display! Sure, it's not made of shiny aluminum, but who cares? Image quality is all I need, and this delivers in spades. Plus, they come with VESA mounting holes in the back as standard, so I was able to place them on a two-monitor VESA mounting arm and free up a bunch of space on my desk. I know the Apple display is 5K and this one is 4K, but two 4K monitors side by side get me way more resolution and work space than one 5K monitor. All in all, I heartily recommend this Asus ProArt 4K monitor to anyone looking for a high-res 27 LCD for content creation and general computing on a Mac (as long as you plug it in directly and not through a docking station).

The Acer monitor works very well with my Mac computer, I use it to edit video on Premiere Pro, and the response is absolutely awesome, I have it connected with an HDMI to lightning cable and the image is crisp. I wish I would’ve bought a second one. Eddie.
