I bought this to replace my 2012 that I never had problems with. MacBook Pro is the only Apple product that I own. I don't even like iPhones, but I like my MacBook Pro. My usually bought Dell laptops, but after 2 years they start to fail. My 2012 lasted 8 years and it just started to freeze. I suspect it's the hard drive, so I plan on repairing it and keeping it as a backup. But I figured it was time to buy a new laptop so I wanted to give the M1 a try. So far so good and I'm really happy with it. 5 |

I just bought a new MacBook pro from B&H Photo. My old Macbook was 12 years old and still functioning well, I just couldn't update it any more. Couldn't download functioning forms of java script, google, you tube etc... I will keep it as a storage unit. The new Macbook is somewhat similar. It is the same keyboard, except now it is backlight, but it came installed with Yosemite. I spend more of my time building and making things than I spend on the computer, so I am not the most computer savvy person on earth, and this new Macbook will take a bit of learning. Over all, I believe it won't take too long to get up to speed. I purchased the apple care protection plan, and between that, and the great service help I get from the people at B&H, my learning curve should be even shorter. 5 |
