Processor For Computer Gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what I was looking for in a gaming and home computer! I bought a new monitor to accompany the higher processor this workstation has. The processor is an I7 and works swiftly with ZERO lag whether I am playing a video game or if I am doing a multiple page worksheet. The workstation is compact and takes up very little space. I am impressed with the overall function of this pc and highly recommend it!

This processor has been great for day to day work. I use this process on my desktop computer that triples as a server and sometimes gaming. While I do not have a GPU, this graphics on this card keeps up with movies, tv shows, and the small amount of gaming that I do. Very impressed. I haven't even overclocked it yet and it still works very well. Happy with my purchase!

This processor is perfect for my needs of gaming. I was on the fence about the i7 vs this one and I wasn't disappointed with the performance.

For anything other than heavy gaming, this processor hits a sweet spot of performance and value. You aren't paying the premium for the latest and greatest or super fastest edition, but still getting most of the performance.

Upgrading from a ROG STRIX B450-F gaming board with a new processor and gpu. Ryzen 7 5800X3D and Radeon RX 7700 XT. This board handles my gaming needs fantastically. The fact that it also incldes WiFi 6 and the 4 nvme .m2 PCIe 4.0 raid enclosure. It is worth every little bit of my investment.

I've been using the processor for about a week, and it's been working great. I'm using it in a build primarily meant for gaming. Before my GPU arrived I tried playing games using just the integrated graphics and it was still very playable. Things were fuzzy, but I still averaged over 100fps.

This thing is ridiculously fast, if you need to know how fast just Google review sites, but for gaming it's hard to beat! B&H got me my processor right away after they got some in. Took just shy of two and half weeks to restock, and a day and a half to ship it to me. It was in the manufacturers packaging sealed in a plain B&H box filled with those balloon packaging things. So if you're worried it will get swiped or smashed like from other retailers, don't. I'm very impressed with B&H.

Sure, it's not the absolute latest at this point, but it's a great processor for gaming and moderate content creation. Only complaint is the mounting system for the included Wraith Prism cooler - it can be hard to clip into the motherboard mounts, but seems fairly stable once attached.
