I was looking for a processor for my gaming rig attached to a 4K TV. This processor is very fast, and constantly runs around 5.35 mhz at 60-65 C temps in games. I am using the stock cooler that came with it, and the cooler can easily handle even Cinebench R23. My CPU's max was 88 C while running a 30 minute stability test. Hence saved money by not buying additional air/AIO. I tested games in 1080, 1440, and 4K resolutions, and this CPU pushes my 4080 100% in any game, any details, so absolutely no CPU bottleneck. It is a great gaming CPU for mid to high-end rigs. Don't overthink; just get it and enjoy! 5 |

For anything other than heavy gaming, this processor hits a sweet spot of performance and value. You aren't paying the premium for the latest and greatest or super fastest edition, but still getting most of the performance. 5 |

As a software engineer I need a lot of cores for compile and this processor is the perfect one for heavy compile tasks and gaming. Only thing I’d say is don’t skimp out on the cooler. It doesn’t run super hot but if you’re doing a lot of constant heavily load tasks you want it to run cool. 5 |
