Processor List By Performance

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Very powerful 12 core processor runs 80 C with air cooling on 100% test load. I signed up on B&H's wait list and was recently notified that they were holding one for me at MSRP. I received it in just a few days. This processor is still pretty much unavailable at list price and scalping is rampant. If you are still trying to buy a 5900X I recommend B&H's wait list!! 5 |

This processor destroys anything currently offered by Intel in terms of performance per dollar! 5 |

This processor is perfect for my needs of gaming. I was on the fence about the i7 vs this one and I wasn't disappointed with the performance. 5 |

I have had it for 2 weeks now and I like the performance so far. ...The swiping of the touchscreen is counter-intuitive; i.e. swipe up to move down the list. Except that everything other feature used so far seems great! 5 |

A bit pricey but overall very worth it, you will need to research which lenses cover the gfx sensor and some have different levels of vignetting and af performance but once the lens is in the supported list you get access to in camera adapter mount adjustment menu to clean up the corners a bit. Also you can't use lens IS/OIS and ibis at the same time but ibis works very very well, allowing you to hand hold the canon 300mm lenses to below 1/60sec easily. The AF speed is something to note, it is surprisingly fast with supported lenses and more so if you have a PDAF supporting camera, the lenses perform like a native GFX lens vignetting aside. If the lens isn't on the list performance is variable, it will work but a very poor performance. But it's not perfect and one wish was that they could have included weather sealing on the adapter to at least keep the weather sealed L glass still weather sealed. 5 |

The BenQ monitor was one of three I had in my wish list and was the first one to go on sale so, I made the purchase. It was an upgrade in size and performance. Very happy with my choice and very happy I ordered from B&H. 5 |

For anything other than heavy gaming, this processor hits a sweet spot of performance and value. You aren't paying the premium for the latest and greatest or super fastest edition, but still getting most of the performance. 5 |

The AMD Ryzen 7 5700x at $190 gives you the most performance per dollar. This is especially true when you enable PBO on Ryzen Master as this gives you essentially the same performance of the Ryzen 7 5800x. Using PBO yields a Passmark Price Performance (CPU Mark / $Price) of 148 for a processor that scores a CPUMark over 28,000. The 5700x temps stay under control when used with a good cooler - I used a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black. With PBO optimized for 115 watts the CPU stayed under 75 C on a multicore Cinebench R20 run. In light office work it draws 35 watts at 37 degrees C. Great processor for anyone using an AM4 motherboard. 5 |

The AMD Ryzen 5. 5600g gave me a significant jump in performance after previously using a 3400g processor. I bought it towards the end of the 2022 holiday season for around 120 and shipping was free. The 5600g is a six core processor at 3.89 GHz. I plan to use this processor in my system as a workhorse. An important note is that for some motherboards to get the full performance of the 5600g Or any of the Ryzen g series processors? You may have to update your motherboard's BIOS. The Ryzen platform is great and I recommend. 5 |
