Product Photography Flash Or Continuous Lighting

In my work in architectural photography is an increasing need for continuous lighting, and this fills the need well.

Worked great but I need one with continuous lighting.

I'd been hesitant to click purchase on continuous lighting when photographers seem to prefer flash/strobe, but HOLY COW why didn't I do this sooner? It absolutely saved my booty the same week for an in-home newborn session when a random storm blew through, making the family's gorgeous home turn into a natural-light photographer's worst nightmare it was so dark. I hate using flash around newborns anyway, so this was a completely simple and effective way to add needed light! The carry case is a great plus, too. Very professional. And I'm starting to move into more branding work and adding video elements so double-bonus that this does both!

Perfect for studio flash or continuous lighting, it give you more space to work since you don't need light stands.

The lighting produced by the flex kit is just amazing compared to my old continuous lights. For headshot photography there's just nothing better. It's pricey but it absolutely is worth every penny in my opinion.

I will use this product as a fill and full flash for indoor photography and portraits. when I do not have my lighting system in place. It has many great features and is a great product and will enhance me in every way a flash can.

Bought these after renting continuous lighting for shoot for years and I'm pretty happy with them so far after 3 product shoots in studio. Bought 2 of them. Needed to create a really clean, hard shadow on my product shoot. One light as key, the other light bouncing off ceiling for some fill. Worked perfect! Pros: Quite bright for my needs. Minimal heat coming off them, though not cool to the touch. Pretty much silent. Well-built in all the right places. Good, medium-duty cords and case. Priced where it should be IMO. Cons: I don't love the lever to release the reflector. I feel like it's too small and may not hold up long term... Time will tell. Overall, it's what I needed at a good price. It's getting to the point where LED is finally worth investing in for me vs. renting. I know many people working with these Aputure branded lights and everyone seems to love them for what you pay for. Would buy again.

It works great with my Canon DSLR. The built quality is good too. The flash also comes with a continuous light for video recording. It is an all-around performance product. Great product for the price also.
