Professional Backup Camera And Dashcam

This little dashcam is affordable and gets the job done!

I am a professional photographer, and purchased this camera as my toss in the bag backup. I love this camera. The pictures are great, the HD video is amazing. The only drawback is the buttons are too close to the thumb hold, and sometimes I accidentally push them. But overall this is a great camera for the price.

This bag is exactly what I need to carry 2 cameras and accessories. Being a professional photographer I like having a backup camera at all times when I'm being counted on !!!

I bought this camera as a personal item and to use as a backup to my professional equipment. The camera is a real value for the money with nice clear pictures and lots of manual options. The best feature is the easy transfer of files into Mac & Final Cut editing suite. The touch screen menu requires geting used to.

I use it in my dashcam to capture hi-def video.

One thing to note before adding this to your dashcam is that the instruction manual states that you need to unplug the power from the main camera before plugging in the GPS antenna. Heed this! If you don't, you could short some of the electronics inside the camera while pushing in the plug. The camera still receives power even if the key is off. Consequently, the same goes for the optional rear camera. That said, the installation couldn't be simpler and the most complex part is deciding where the antenna sticks to the windshield. I would plug it in first and you'll be able to tell how far away you can mount the antenna. It would certainly stink if you stuck it only to find that the cable wasn't long enough to reach the plug.

Within 1 month of having this dashcam, someone brake-checked me. Luckily this camera saved me and now I get a free new front bumper! It has numerous smart features like lane-departure warning, front collision warning, and auto start-stop.

this camera takes really great video the size makes it a good back up and I also use it has a dashcam for weather and news events. very easy to carry all times dos does not weigh a lot
