Professional Ball Point Mechanical Pencil

When I first got my Apple Pencil and my iPad Pro I always felt like the pencil was skating away from me. I tried different techniques to an stop the pencil sloping all over the page with little success. Then I discovered Paperlike and read the specifications that I realised it was the lack of friction between paper and pencil that made me chase the point of contact with a glass surface, other than drive the point of contact. I decide to give it a try, as my paperless experience was not working like I thought it would. I was right or should I say Paperlike was right. It recreates the perfect amount of friction, I was driving again and my writing was exactly the same personal flowing signature characters that I learnt as a child and perfected into my adulthood and I stopped skating on ice. 5 |

Great lead supply for my mechanical pencil. These are very thick and so far, not a single has broken even when I extend a bit. Very happy with these lead refills. 5 |

WD Black drives are the best mechanical drives available. I will go SSD at some point but not yet. I just put 4 in a new gigabyte Designare z390 build. :) 5 |

As a filmmaker who likes to shoot outdoors, and likes to get audio of natural sounds, I've been wanting to get a Baby Ball for some time. I hesitated for quite a while because I was not sure it was worth the price. I have a Rode blimp for my shotgun microphone, and was able to use that to house my pencil microphone when needed. But it was a time-consuming and laborious process to switch out a 10 shotgun microphone for a five-inch cardioid pencil microphone. After purchasing Baby Ball Gag, it is easy to use my Behringer B-5 microphone outdoors--and to record the relatively faint sounds of insects and birdsong. I also find it useful for capture dialog in a quiet outdoor setting. I usually prefer the sound from the cardioid B-5, than that of the shotgun. I'm able to get a fuller, more nuanced recording of a person's voice. If you are a one-man-band, using a cardioid can be more forgiving than a shotgun, which will require a person to keep it pointed at the talent's mouth during the shoot. I also use it indoors when ceiling fans are in use. I'm about to begin working on a VLOG, and plan on using a combination of the B-5 with the Baby Ball, along with a lavalier microphone, to ensure the best possible sonic coverage (within my budget and setup). The Baby Ball Gag is THE solution to using pencil microphones out of doors. For me, a completely worthwhile purchase. 5 |

Using the tripod for HDR & lunar photography, videography, etc. The tripod has a professional appearance, is light, with all mechanical components operating smoothly. If the tripod has any weaknesses, I haven't found them yet. 5 |

Exquisite optics and mechanical construction. Built to the level of quality expected in professional scientific instruments. 85mm aperture is perfect balance between portability and adequate light gathering power for most viewing situations. Haven’t used it much yet because of winter weather, but views of M42 exhibited high contrast with excellent resolution of 4 Trapezium stars at 67x. Views of the moon are very crisp and richly detailed along the terminator. 5 |

I'm a professional illustrator so the Apple Pencil is a must! There's a bit of a learning curve but I was able to feel fairly comfortable using it within a few hours. Really looking forward to learning how to use if better/more effectively. 5 |
