I've had dozens of camera bags over the last 50 years: big ones, little ones; zipper top, flap and buckle top, leather and canvas, deep ones, shallow ones, messenger and shoulder bags, waist bags. You get the idea. As I'm aging, I'm finding that I can't carry the heavy stuff anymore. But the small bags that are available now are just too small for my needs: a D7200 and one other lens, and maybe a small accessory. Enter the SpeedTop 15. This bag is the just-right bag FOR ME. The magnetic top is fast-access and secure; just brilliant! The bag is not too big, but big enough for me and my stuff. It's deep enough that I can lay my camera strap on top of everything (which has always been a problem for me). The top opens away from you which keeps prying eyes away. The strap is long enough that I can carry it cross body and swing it around to hang it behind me on my hip, out of the way. Keep in mind this bag is almost perfect FOR ME. It may be for others too. This bags was made and created for travellers, well made with strong material. Me and my girlfriend both left for 6 months of travelling and we have more the enough space ! I strongly recommend this bag !!!

I am a professional engineering consultant and I do a lot of camera photography as well. I needed a backpack instead of a briefcase. I searched high and low for all sorts of camera bags but none could offer a sweet spot to serve as a dual camera bag and office bag backpack. Many camera bags would focus too heavily on camera gear and little on business functionality. I have very high end and expensive professional camera gear but only use four prime lenses. After much thought and deliberation, I decided to change my focus from trying to find a camera bag that does business to finding a business bag that I can also use for my camera gear. Equipped with some lens pouches, I can securely place my expensive camera gear in my backpack and have all the functionality of a mobile office as well. The Samsonite Openroad backpack does not disappoint and I have already bought the 15.6 inch backpack as well as the larger 17.3 inch backpack. Love it, Love it, Love it. I hope Samsonite keeps this functional and comfortable to carry Openroad backpack in their line up for many years to come as I have referred many to buy this well made backpack. As a professional photographer for over 20 years, I'm a bit of a camera bag junkie. I'm like my wife with purses. I own 6 camera bags, and I'm never fully happy with them. I ordered this case after seeing a B&H video by Todd Vorenkamp about a travel photographer who uses it. I organize a photo trip to Ireland every year and have never liked my travel bags, so I gave it a try. Not only was this perfect for airline travel as a carry on, but I absolutely love the case. I use it as my full time case, not just for travel. I wish I would have found this years ago.
