I got lucky and got this on a flash sale. I needed something similar for my smaller tripods so I could mount any number of cameras on my desktop when filming demo films. I did not buy this with only my only my iPhone in mind. Sitting on a desk or table this thing holds my Canon 5D Mark II with 24-105 zoom super steady. With other cheapo tripods heads keeping the camera in position couldn't happen. The ball head locks in with a modest amount of pressure and doesn't require a gorilla to tighten it down to get a camera and lens that doesn't droop after a few seconds. For me there is a bonus that the top of the head pops up to hold a cell phone! This ball head is very well constructed and priced very well considering it's quality and I am very happy with it. FWIW, I am a long time professional photographer used to using professional gear and have a collection of commercial grade tripod heads... and I approve this product.

I am a professional engineering consultant and I do a lot of camera photography as well. I needed a backpack instead of a briefcase. I searched high and low for all sorts of camera bags but none could offer a sweet spot to serve as a dual camera bag and office bag backpack. Many camera bags would focus too heavily on camera gear and little on business functionality. I have very high end and expensive professional camera gear but only use four prime lenses. After much thought and deliberation, I decided to change my focus from trying to find a camera bag that does business to finding a business bag that I can also use for my camera gear. Equipped with some lens pouches, I can securely place my expensive camera gear in my backpack and have all the functionality of a mobile office as well. The Samsonite Openroad backpack does not disappoint and I have already bought the 15.6 inch backpack as well as the larger 17.3 inch backpack. Love it, Love it, Love it. I hope Samsonite keeps this functional and comfortable to carry Openroad backpack in their line up for many years to come as I have referred many to buy this well made backpack. After making the decision, after thirty years of amateur photography, to take my game professional, I took a chance on this RL sling: and all I can say is wow, WOW, WOW! Out of the box the leather exudes fine leather crafting. It has that beautiful, polished leather smell, and the clasps are robust, sturdy, shiny, and PROFESSIONAL. RL includes brochures featuring some of their other products, and needless to say, for any future needs, I will be investing in camera slings and harnesses made only by this company. EVERY PENNY spent was worth every penny. The B&H picture does not do this item justice. This is no cheap and flimsy thing. It's gorgeous, GORGEOUS.

I am a professional wedding photographer and i have a lot of gear to go with me to all my events. These cases have protected all my camera's and lenses and I would never think about not using one again. Definitely worth every pent and I like these cases a lot more than the pelican ones as well (i have 2 of those).

This backpack is sturdy enough to protect the camera gear I have (I'm not a professional videographer). I love the side pocket - it makes a huge difference when I'm taking photos.

I use my Olympus gear for both personal and professional shooting. This camera is an upgrade/replacement for one of my E-3's. So far I am very impressed. It seems that Olympus improved on every weak area of the E-3 with this model. I tend to shoot Jpeg files almost exclusively, and this camera produces very high quality files that need very little post processing. Love it!
