Professional Camera Harnesses

I have owned a number of camera and lens straps over the years but none before Uni-loop provided the strength and versatility I sought. These connectors are the standard ones for that system. They will hold fifteen pounds and connect, via quick release clips, to camera straps or harnesses designed to fit them. Together with other Uni-Loop devices, these allow me to move straps from one camera or lens to another. They also make it possible to use a telephoto lens-camera combination with only one strap. (Extra ones get in the way, but one is essential to avoid dropping of a lens/camera combination.) Since they also work with harnesses, one can elect to carry a camera with lens attached by a harness when that approach is preferable.

I spent a good amount of time online checking out camera harnesses. After eliminating many, I was left with the Porta Brace, which seemed to have most of the features for which I was looking. After using it for two weeks, I have determined that it is everything I'd hoped for. My neck and shoulders feel much better because of it, and it even helps my posture. I highly recommend it.

Bought one of these harnesses for my best friend and she raved about it! Purchased one for myself and I love how it carries/distributes the weight of two camera bodies.

I have tried so many different camera straps and harnesses. Most of them are fine for an event but eventually hurt my shoulder and back if I carry my Nikon d750 for more than an hour or so. I like to have my camera with me on walks and can't currently afford a lighter camera system, so this has been a problem for me. Attaching my camera to my backpack allows my backpack frame to take over, and it's so much better! I have a set on my everyday backpack and am now getting a set for a dayhiking pack. I also have the sling strap and the wrist strap that work with this system. I'm very happy with them. Op/tech may not be trendy, but I've tried the trendy brands and keep coming back to Op/tech.

I have been meaning to buy one of those double leather camera harnesses for about 2 years now. I pulled the trigger on these because of the price point and because it was sold on B&H. I love the build quality, the smell of leather, the padded shoulders, the sturdiness of the hooks, etc. I have only used it once since I got it (first wedding of the year) but so far, I'm very satisfied.

Purchased (2) cotton carrier single camera harnesses for my wife and I. Both carried the canon R5 and 100-500mm lenses perfectly. We hiked more than 10 miles in Yellowstone and sometimes forgot we had cameras with us. It was very easy to bring your camera up for photos and then place back in the slot. The weight was on your mid back instead of your shoulders. As always B&H shipped fast and with no damage

I've tried several of these harnesses over the years, from the single sling to the double to the belt clips that held the cameras like a holster, and this is, by far, the easiest and most convenient to use. It slips on like a coat and there are no pressure points, regardless of the camera/lens combination or the length of the shoot. I've done 11 hour weddings and all day golf and track and field events and I've never had a problem. The camera swings up to your eye without hesitation and I feel comfortable releasing it and grabbing the other without fear of it coming unhinged and dropping to the ground. It has a safety clip that attaches to the camera strap hook, but I found it unnecessary. The main catch that screws into the tripod socket is sufficient. Well made and I'm sure it will last for years.

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about the usefulness of a camera harnesses, but wanted to give it a try after seeing some other shooters using them. This one lives up to the marketing. It's well made and really helps distribute the weight of two camera bodies with long lenses. The first time I used it, I spent a full day covering a military air show and really was impressed. I could easily and quickly transition between cameras and even after a long, hot day, I felt surprisingly fresh. Attachment to the cameras was easy and felt secure.
