Professional Dive Camera

I an a professional videographer with 20+ years in the biz. My first dive into DSLR world was a Sony a7iii but it kept over heating and i broke several 2.5mm audio adapter plugs when using my Professional mics. Sold at a discount and bought the GH5s. Putting the GPS and dive camera into one unit is great...one less item on the front windshield. It's really clear and works very well.

I bought this camera for use while diving. I actually had the housing pressure tested in the dive locker and brought it down to 100' prior to installing the camera. The housing passed the test. I used the camera while diving a spring in central FL. I believe my max depth was around 103'. The camera delivered high quality video with sound (as best as it can get while diving) through the housing. The only real drawback was that the owner's manual did not clearly discuss functions and specifics of the camera. I had the assistance of people familiar with various other brands of cameras similar to this one to help me figure things out.

Not something I use all the time but when traveling light with a sling bag I often want the camera at hand without having to dive into the back and this is perfect. Engagement is clean and clear (you know when it clicks in) and it's generally unobtrusive. Good on shoulder straps of a backpack but on a sling bag it drops the camera right where you want it for quick access. I highly recommend
