Professional Gaming Headphones

I'm a professional audio engineer who owns a lot of headphones, but I also game in my free time. I tend to like Beyerdynamic cans for work but they can be fatiguing in a gaming environment with the din of war blaring. The X2 is very pleasant and smooth without abandoning accuracy. The depth of soundstage is remarkable. Tonal balance is even handed. They lack the subtle compression you get from most cans so you feel encouraged to turn them up, which is no problem because they are so smooth in the top end.
