Professional Landscape Photography Camera

I'm not a professional photographer, only an enthusiast. But I enjoy owning professional-grade equipment. This camera is perfect for me. My previous experience was with SLRs and then a Canon 6D DSLR. For the 6D, I'd obtained a couple of L lenses; so nothing else except the camera body was needed. My niche in photography is wildlife photography, followed by landscape and then action. The 5D Mk-IV will satisfy me for many years to come. The touch screen is marvelous! Camera settings are a snap with it. The Auto Focus is a huge improvement over my 6D. For movies, it focuses on the subject and adjusts focus as it moves. This should also be great still photography for birding or rapidly-moving wildlife (which makes great subjects, by the way). The feel and weight of the camera is good. With the 400mm lens, I can still hand-hold when needed. With 30K mpxls, cropping should be more effective and eliminate need for a longer lens. The extended ISO range makes natural light nighttime pictures more effective. Can't wait to get up in dark sky areas for night time landscape with star trails or 20-second exposures. I'm going to have to revisit Zion and Arches, for sure; just to take night time pictures.

We were on a photo trip and I had left the lens I normally use for landscape type photography home. So, I ordered this lens for over night delivery. We had three guided photo tours scheduled and I had to have a lens that would do the job. I don't think of myself as a professional photography, but I do have professional type lens and cameras. To date, I have used this lens for about a week. I have used it in very dark environments in both the Antelope Upper and Lower Slot Canyons. I was shocked at the quality of the photos that I got. I shoot HDR and in this low light environment both my Canon 1Dx and this lens did a great job for me. In addition, I used this lens at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and both camera and lens were spectacular. In the week I have had the lens in addition to the above, I have used it in sunrise and sunset and it picks up colors I didn't see in the shots until I saw them in the photos. This will be my primary landscape lens. This lens is quiet, extremely fast on focus and the images are extremely sharp. In the slot canyons you are up close. On the North Rim of the Grand Canyon you are shooting at great distance. This lens was extremely sharp in both situations.

Purchases this lens for professional real estate photography, landscape photography, and as a video lens for vlogs. This lens sharpness is great, fantastic starburst at f8 and good low light capabilities. Focusing is virtually silent and is quick on my xt3. Highly recommend and will be a frequent carry on my camera, easily the best non-Fuji glass I've experience thus far.

This is my first upgrade to a professional tripod. I purchased this tripod to use for macro and landscape photography. It is a very durable and versitile tripod. Is a great product and should last for many years

I use this lens for landscape photography. It does the trick and so much more. Ultra sharp. Fast. Professional build quality. I pair it with a Nikon D7200. The image quality being produced rivals images I've made with my Canon 5D MKII. Crazy but true!!
