I am not a professional photographer so I couldn't justify spending 6000.00 on a higher end lens so tried a Tamron 150-600mm. The Tamron didn't seem very sharp to me so I read a number of reviews about other lenses. When Nikon introduced the AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Lens I waited a while and read a number of positive reviews by professional photographers as well as many user reviews so I decided to buy it. I haven't been disappointed. This lens gives me the extra zoom I wanted and is very sharp. I am very happy with the quality of images I am able to produce with this lens and the price. 5 |
