Professional Polaroid Camera 171 X 240

I am not a professional but have just bought the 24-240 (did not care for the quality of the ziess 24-70 I had so was looking for kinda replacement) and have been shooting on the a7ii for a couple days. I already had bought the 70-200 F4. Honestly after doing many comparison shots at equal stops and distances I think my 24-240 is sharper over the same range than my 70-200. Because of that I have decided to return the 70-200 since I'm still with in my 45 day window. Not sure if I got a really good copy of the 24-240 or a bad copy of the 70-200 but between the sharpness, extra range, and almost macro ability of the 24-240 it is a no brainier for my needs. And $ bucks cheaper as well. 5 |

Basically since AKG released this same version as the “Mark II” , the way I see it, you are getting a very high end, professional studio grade headphone for a fraction of what they used to charge!! I also own the updated version of these K 240’s and I can assure you, for the money, these original 240 AKG’s are an unreal value !! You will not be disappointed! Very true audio reproduction and super solid and professional build quality. The ONLY reason I would not recommend these is for use as a headphone for a drummer. These are semi-open design, so you do get some ambient room noise bleed-through. Long story short, incredibly accurate audio that does not color the sound so what you hear is basically what the end result will be. Pick up a couple at these prices! 5 |

So what makes buying this camera worth it over finding an old polaroid camera at the thrift shop? Well the coolest feature in my opinion is the rechargeable battery in the camera. Usually with instant film you are only left with the battery that's in the film pack but with this camera you can use either the i-type film (no battery pack, relies on camera's rechargeable battery) or you can use the polaroid 600 film (the same film but with battery pack in with the film cartridge). Why is this a cool feature? Well you can now stock up on Polaroid film for yourself or a a gift and not have to worry about the battery in the film pack dying rendering the film useless. You have the ability to recharge the camera and keep shooting! And if the battery inside the Polaroid Originals One Step 2 ever does die or lose performance you can just switch to using the Polaroid 600 film with the battery pack in the film cartridge. This camera is totally worth buying! And I forgot to mention the Polaroid Originals film is pretty good and is only getting better! 5 |

The GraLab 171 Darkroom Timer does exactly what I need. It is well built, versatile timing up and down, and accurately times and turns off power to a light box exposure unit. I am very pleased with the service from B&H and with this product. 5 |

I have been waiting for this capability since I lost the ability to shoot Polaroid proofs on my Hasselblad. I now shoot an EOS 5dsr. It is simply incredible, IF you are a professional and need a professional way to quickly check your results without being confined by a computer (nearly impossible in the field.) There may be those who complain about the speed because they are comparing it to a consumer device toy. The transmission on images in fast on my EOS 5dsr shooting RAW either onto my iPhone Six or iPad. It takes a few seconds to get full resolution and 50 thumbnails appear in a less than a second.) Try that with a Polaroid back. I can quickly check focus, see anything in the shot that I missed (there is always something), see major exposure flaws before i check the histogram, and get a great idea of how to either move on or make a change to the image. But, there was a about a one hour learning curve (how may days did it take you to really master your pro camera so that you stopped interrupting your flow to look for a control?) I have used the remote shooting also and it works fine but I see it as more of a toy than a pro too. For that, I use cord connected Canon dedicated software) The only thing bad I can say is that I pre-ordered mine the minute it was announced (September, I think) and I just received it on February 10th. It was worth the wait! 5 |
