Professional Slow Motion Camera

would like a forward and reverse slow motion button included,

Having worked as a motion picture camera man for over thirty years I recently acquired a pro HD camera. The 1st thing I checked was the zoom rocker arm. I was greatly disappointed to see the zoom lurch into motion and not be able to creep. I am used to Panavision and Arriflex zooms that can creep so slow as to bury a zoom. But I had purchased a Libec Zoom with LANC capacity for my Cannon XA-20. Without the Libec all zoom rockers on the camera are jerky on the start and zoom too fast, with a jerky stop. With the Libec, the camera becomes professional. The zoom will start slow and creep or gain speed that you choose. Also you get your hands back on the pan arm where they should be. This is a fantastic product.

I was looking for a camera that would deliver quality slow motion and not have a shallow depth of focus, was easy to use and shoot in ProRes. This camera does that in great fashion, especially when paired with a par focal lens.

This is my first time Lumix camera. it's fantastic to use and great picture look for me. Slow motion is great. Love the C1, C2 and C3, save settings and just switch to a preset and the camera is ready.

The price is great for what it can do. Shooting raw slow motion requires some amount of control since it cannot conform to 24p in camera. That said its really a fantastic camera for $4k. Also mixing Alexa luts in post gives great color.

I really like this but that’s bc I shoot primarly video.  This basically stays in my camera and shooting video with this really does make it a baby c200.  If I didn’t shoot video there’s no way I would buy this.  But now Canon has made a camera underwhelming in slow motion but it works great.  Dpaf is amazing, Nd filter, and 4k.  I use slow motion for 5-10% of any video I produce, so when buying a camera I’d rather have one that does 90% of what I will show right.

A V90 card is required on my camera for a slow motion recording. This is a cost effective answer.
