I am a professional extreme videographer, and my equipment takes a beating. I choose Sony gear because it lasts longer than the competition, and I don't have to worry about my gear not working perfectly with generic or off-brand counterparts. This charger/adapter is the original one shipped with the camera, so I would rather buy this than a cheaper imitation, knowing that Sony stands behind their products 100%, with 100% compatibility.

Jan 24, 2016 Review of: Magnus PV-7451M Tripod/Monopod with 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head I purchased the Magnus tripod for use with my Canon Rebel XT DSLR. I'm taking a digital photography class at Umpqua Community College here in Oregon, and since I was going to be taking a lot of different kind of photographs to meet the syllabus of this course I needed a good tripod. My other tripod was in use with one set of 25 x 100 Celeste on astronomical binoculars, and between these two issues was a good excuse for a new tripod. I had had good experience with B&H photo before, went online to see what they carried in the way of tripods. Wow, quite a collection of tripods. So I narrowed down the criteria for my choice and went with the Magnus PV 7451M. The reviews that were online were very favorable and the fact that the center portion of the tripod was removable for use as a monopod was a real plus. The quick release mechanism for attaching my camera has turned out to be a tremendous advantage. I bought my Canon Rebel XT in 2008 and had used its 18-55 lens for general photography. The primary reason I bought the camera was it was a good quality DSLR, and with a few accessories could be used with my telescopes for digital astrophotography. (I have a 5 inch Maksutov-Cassegrain on an Alt-Az mount and an 8 inch Schmidt- Cassegrain on a German equatorial mount.) So most of my use of the camera has been astronomical in nature, that is until I started taking my digital photography class. So in summary, the tripod has allowed me the flexibility I need to meet the class requirements and to learn some new tricks in terrestrial photography. Thus, even as a novice user I find the tripod meets all of my requirements and works as advertised

I was looking for a small but as close to a professional camera I could find. I ride a bicycle about 100 miles a week through some very pretty rural country and I've missed way too many shots. I can put this camera in small pack and it provides me all the power and control I need. Works fantastic

This pack will carry my 2 professional camera bodies with 500mm and 100-400mm lenses attached with additional room for teleconverters, chargers, flash, and a landscape lens. Plenty of pockets for memory cards, batteries, cables, water bottle, ...Bonus is it is carry on size. I story the rain cover tucked under where the tripod pocket tucks in. Easy to organize and reach desired items quickly. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and the lower strap works well for me. If I need a padded strap I know where to find it with Think Tank-ProSpeed Belt.

It came sooner than promised.. It has worked very well in my Sony FDR AX-100 video camera. It registers 4 hours and 40 minutes for 4K videos. I assume since it is Sony battery in a Sony camera that this is accurate. I have never let it run that long continuously, since it would rake a much bigger memory card than I have. I am happy with it so far - glad to recommend this battery.

I've always ordered one for the little sony 100's. They make it easier to hold the small camera.
