Professional Video Camera With External Mic

I was looking for a solution for keeping cables neatly confined when connecting a professional video camera to an external monitor. HDMI cables are generally very inflexible, so the advent of a rotatable plug solved the issue.

Great camera for family video. Simple to use, good quality video, and the external mic input is a great plus! Note -- do not purchase the Edit 100 Camera Bag which is listed as a recommended accessory. This bag is too small!

I use this cable to connect an external short shotgun mic to my Canon T3i for better sound quality while shooting video. The mic I use is a non-powered (no batteries) short shotgun microphone. The length is just right for connecting the mic to the hot shoe on the camera and staying out of the way while using a tripod. I would definitely recommend this inexpensive cable to connect better sound recording devices to your DSLR video camera.

I use this mic for professional interviews and on camera work as well as video presentations. Works great and kept me from having to replace my body pack as well. Just updated the old school microphone with a new model.

I play and record many instruments and need an external mic for my iPhone. I chose the Rode Video Mic Me for it's price and I'm finding it definitely improves the audio quality on my iPhone recordings.

I bought this mic to upgrade my old Video Mic and I have been very pleased. While it is not a professional xlr microphone, it still holds its own when it comes to audio quality. When used properly it produces fantastic sound. It mounts easily and simply to your camera or rig, and it is not obtrusive. I would recommend this mic to beginners and professionals alike, because it is that good. It has become a part of my standard kit, and I love the results that I can get from it. Pros: +20 dB is a huge blessing and greatly improves the sound quality over the old version. The shock mount is much improved over the old model. Cons: NA

*** I am not a professional videographer *** Since I decided back in January to start adding video to my repertoire, I figured I should get an external mic to use on my 7D Mark II for wildlife and nature videos. The built-in mic is okay in a pinch, but it simply doesn't deliver the quality of an external mic, or the option of using a boom or stand if desired. I've used it only a couple of times, but it worked really well those two times. The build quality seems good for the price, it's lightweight so as not to add too much extra weight to the camera and lens, and it makes you look like you really know what you're doing. ;-) Overall, I'm happy with it.

I've purchased several of these drives for use in an external thunderbolt drive chassis. I use them for professional video editing. The perform very well. I've had no issues with them at all. Plus, B&H consistently has the lowest price I can find. Very pleased with these drives and will continue to buy them as needed.
