I've had 10 different digital cameras. I've done professional video and stills throughout my working life. My G9II (and Gh6) is the best camera I've ever used. The AF on the G9II for BIF and sports is extremely good. The video is a professional grade documentary or B roll cinema camera. Pair it with Panasonic PL grade lenses and it becomes a tool with which you can do your best work. The handheld hires is amazing. 5 |

I do professional videography but I started out years ago shooting on a Pentax K1000 film camera. I bought the a6000 primarily for shooting video with a large sensor camera. This camera is fantastic. At around $500 there is nothing that comes close in features and it has a aps C sensor which is found in 90% of all dslr and mirrorless cameras. I’ve seen canon 1” sensor point ant shoot cameras for hundreds more. I shoot low light wedding videos on this camera and the video looks fantastic. It also shoots video in Sony’s xavc 50 mbps format which is found on Sony cameras and pro camcorders costing thousands more. This small camera is a beast! 5 |

I just got this lens and am very happy with the results. I own many cameras as a professional video and still shooter and I shoot with this lens on my GH4 and really like the DOF control I can achieve with this lens and the images are really great and can finally compare to full frame cameras if you are an experienced shooter you will love this lens it's extremely well made and sharp but be sure to get a variable ND for ultimate control!! 5 |

I make technical videos for my company and send them to our offices in China. I also travel to China and make the videos there for the office here in the USA. I first made videos believe it or not with a Fujifilm S9000 in the movie mode. Then I thought I was really cool when the gave me a Hi 8 camera! Then came the GL2 WOWIE..... talk about top quality video and ease of use. I did what any other consumer would do and took it out of the box and made my first video..(a fashion show) it was horrible... THEN I READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.. Althought this camera has many different modes, ie snow, Aperture priorty, shutter priorty, I like the manual mode... having total control is what i like! Now for what I dont like!! I travel from the USA to China often and it gets a little cumbersome taking this camera. Althought the video quality is awesome, i foraske portability. I have a pelican (#1510 case) that i keep my gear in but it still gets tiring carrying it around. I am gonna take a Canon HV30 on my next trip! 5 |
