We bought the Nest Thermostat and sensor, and installed it right away. Replaced old programmable thermostat. Very simple to install! Very easy to connect to Wifi and upstairs sensor. Love the look, and especially, the simplicity of it. It's programmable but it will learn your habits and needs with time. The phone app is a great addition and very usefull. Recommend highly!! great product.

Unlike the Nest Thermostat (bought elsewhere), which is a nice toy if you already had a decent programmable thermostat, the Nest Hello really useful, & the software (both the Android app & the web app) are well-designed with useful features. The ability to continually cast the video feed (via Chromecast) to an unused TV is really nice.

Outstanding tool to compliment efficient use of HVAC. Programmable for day vs night and home vs away heating and cooling. Thermostat actually “learns” your habits to reduce cost of HVAC when at work or vacation. Exiting technology

Well we did it ...I'm 70 years old and replaced my old programmable NOMA thermostat with Nest. Install was so easy once we had painted and covered the old screw holes ...Could have used the plate supplied but did all that and within an hour Nest was on the wall...just followed instuctions and in about 10 minutes Nest was operational. Programming was a breeze with the Nest App.

The Nest learning thermostat looks good, but it seemed, on first sight, to be too simple to really work well. Other programmable thermostats have large screen faces, with lots of detail, so this simple looking one, with only the temperature showing, wasn’t expected to work as well. What I found out, was that you don’t need all that other stuff. This thermostat does everything well.

I bought the Nest Learning thermostat to replace an older programmable thermostat. What an amazing upgrade - it was so easy to install and program I went back and bought 3 more. I now would like another 2 to replace all thermostats. The temperature is now more balanced all the time making our home more comfortable and we’re saving money by turning all systems down while out.

I purchased my thermostat earlier this year to replace an programmable. Install was super easy. Once setup an connected I connected to my Google Home device. Now I can change the temperature with my voice! The thermostat learned our habits and even adjusts itself when we leave. Money saved. We have since gone on to purchase

I like that the box came with everything I needed to do the installation. Including a retrofit harness that was needed because my old programmable thermostat was battery powered. It’s been working great for 2 months now. Love it
