This board is killer. I prefer it to the Z790 , a virtually identical board to the 690 but with a more IO options. Paired with the components listed below, I can do anything from Video editing to gaming , streaming and IT Administration. I have heard that Asus can be difficult when it comes to RMA and that they are working on improving thier work flows in that area and well, I have not had to test the validity of those claims since I have never had an Asus product fail on me in more than a 2 decades of Asus being my products of choice. purchased the sandisk 4tb for my ASUS G74S Laptop and what a huge difference it does, the laptop is alot faster before boot time was 45 seconds and not its 4 seconds flat. i recommend anyone with older laptops to upgrade! 5 |
