Project One Solid State Stereo Receiver Mark Iii

The receiver looks like a small space starship once mounted on my Canon 5D Mark III. Works nicely and easily. Sometimes connecting to the GPS takes 2-3 minutes, but cannot indicate in which conditions it is much slower than the norm. Having pictures tagged with all coordinates is a very nice feature to have, primarily went in urban areas or in the wilderness. Actually, it is useful everywhere. Always travel with spare batteries just in case. Forgot to turn it off only the first time: lesson learnt.

The receiver works great. I did not expect to have to upgrade the firmware of my 5D Mark III, but did in order to get this to work. Once done, works perfectly. Love the enhanced EXIF data ;) Wish it were slightly smaller, but there's no getting around that. It does have an extension cable so you can leave the receiver on your belt clip.

I have a stereo system that has a tubes and solid state amplifier, plus electrostatic speakers. I bought two of these cables to see if there was any discernible audible difference between them and regular patch cords. The minute I installed them, the clarity and definition of the sound was greatly enhanced. It was much smoother and beautifully defined - so much so that I immediately ordered two more. Thanks so much for a great product!!! I would recommend these patch cords to anyone that loves good music. Although they are quite expensive, they are worth every penny.
