Projector Recognizes Laptop But Screen Blank

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

Our old extender was causing the image going to our projector to go blank for about 4 seconds at random times. I replaced it with the Ocean Matrix Extender and the problem went away. An added bonus is the HDMI feed through on the transmitter. This allowed us to hook up a small monitor so that we don't have to turn on the projector every time we want to setup our service. So far, so good!

Ítem was perfect and all my laptop on the eject symbol recognizes the usb but when searching to see the drives doesnt show, still dont know if its a laptop problem or this adapter

I was worried about the weight as I'll be using this with laptop on lap, not table. But the weight is fine! Great screen size. Sharp images.

Bought it as a laptop stand, but I made better use out of it when I used it for my projector

The options are so numerous that trying to note them all in a single review is impossible, making real user reviews important for people like me when making a purchase. While I did receive this unit free of charge for my review, I truly believe that should you purchase this unit, you will find it as powerful, easy to use and flexible as I have!

I constantly am trying to get my laptop to sit, without sliding, on the blank space of the MODX8. Now it hovers over it is safe because it is restrained at the base. I had to make a riser of 1.25 inches for the feet of the synth so the Pyle Pro could slide under it.
