Projector Screen Color Differences

We like the Duet projector screen very much. It is simple to set up and take down and the projected picture and color are very sharp. When folded it is compact enough to carry in our Motor Home.

We use this projector screen in our church activities.

The crinkled texture is great! Both sides have very useable color and differences.

It is the best paper I have ever used ; mostly because the color is saturated and the range differentiates between subtle differences in color and tone.

I installed them next to my projector screen and they sound great.

Was deciding between SL1 vs. T5i, and am happy I chose the SL1. The main differences are size and articulating screen. I enjoy the smaller size, and rarely miss the flip-out screen. Using it with a different lens, though (love the 1.4/50mm).

I've used the Tiffen version of this and there are two notable differences. One, this filter has far less color shift than the Tiffen. Also, this filter has threading on front side of the filter so you can add a simple sunshade that will spin with the filter. I bought the General Brand sunshade and it works well.

I have tested this filter three times now in daylight and artificial light and am very satisfied; it's earned a place in my kit. Density was perhaps a quarter stop less than 10 stops. The color is extremely accurate, varying from my no filter control shot by about 50 degrees K cooler and (in Capture One) 2.5 greener. These are extremely small adjustments. My 10 stop B+W gives a very strong red-warm cast that is hard to eliminate completely with a grey balance, a color cross-over likely due to infrared leaking through the filter. Sharpness: using a Nikon D850, 20mm f/1.8 lens, tripod, mirror up, electronic front curtain shutter, f/8, default settings in C1, at 100% view onscreen the Haida is indistinguishable in the center from No Filter, and at the edges shows only a tiny resolution loss (typical of any filter). You have to go to 200% and compare side by side to see the subtle differences. With a longer focal length lens, I expect any differences to be even smaller. My verdict: excellent filter at a good price. I plan to buy a second in a different size and see no reason to search other brands.

Great dimness and brightness, and amazing color differences within each rgb level. The batteries each take approximately 2 1/2 hours for a full charge.
