Projector Screen On Linear Actuator

We use this projector screen in our church activities.

Anyone looking to extend there monitor onto a TV screen or projector this is the way to go.

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great.

I use the Hoya linear filter more than my CPFs, they're that good!

This is a nicely packaged and solid product. You will hear the actuator as the heads move, but that's not an issue for me. It is moving more mass (read/write heads) than my 4TB and 8TB drives, so I'm not really surprised. Installs easily and works well.

I you need a release cable that has a stereo mini-plug on the actuator end, this is the cable for you. I have used it with a Sony A6000 and A6300 and it works perfectly. The price is good to!

I was a little skeptical because of the low price. Not to worry. This remote shutter actuator works flawlessly. Even has the two stage feel like camera button. This device allows you to walk around making photos without touching your camera.
