Projector Screen Over Fireplace

We use this projector screen in our church activities.

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great.

I always buy an LCD Screen Protector for my cameras. Over the years, I have used various brands. The last one was for my D750 and I liked it, so bought the Phantom Glass for the D850.

Over the last six-eight years I have been using different Vello LCD Screen Protectors on several my cameras (seven in total) and all of those Screen Protectors worked great and lasted with no issues, like new. The best for being able to protect the screen and review images. Replaced an five-year old one from the same company. Over a long time, moisture had gotten behind the cover under one of the seals. These protectors are scratch-resistant and give you the best view at your images.
