Projector Screen Rolling Lock

Needed a rolling bag for laptop & Powerpoint projector & cables. This was the perfect it.

We use this projector screen in our church activities.

I installed them next to my projector screen and they sound great.

Rolling chassis is excellent. Loaded with my Christie DS650 projector the total load of 80 pounds is easy to manage. Possible downside is potential snagginess of chassis underside when dragging across an edge.

Lightweight, smooth rolling and locks solidly and SIMPLY. I use this with the Libec T98 legs and they lock on in seconds and hold securely.

I have three of these. The wheels are smooth-rolling, all three lock. Dolly limits width to 31 inches which is great for a crowded dancefloor or going between rooms through doorways. Can make even a flimsy tripod very stable. Locking the wheels by foot is easy, unlocking is not as easy. I guess that's a good thing. You won't accidentally unlock by bumping into it with your foot.

Perfect rolling case. The best thing about Pelican cases is the ability to not only lock the case closed but to cable lock it to a vehicle, bed frame, pole, or other fixed object. After having all my pro gear stolen, including the soft case backpack it was in, I am not taking any chances. Heavy and certainly not for all situations the 1510 works great on location or for shipping gear.

The construction of these Impact brand rolling light stands is heavy-duty. The three supports fold out and lock easily. The wheels roll smoothly and lock. The telescoping pole has large knobs that lock securely in place. I purchased two of these to hold heavy 80x80 acoustic blankets. They do the job. I am very pleased and would purchase again.

Anyone looking to extend there monitor onto a TV screen or projector this is the way to go.

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.
