Projector Screen Sunlight Damage

We use this projector screen in our church activities.

I installed them next to my projector screen and they sound great.

Anyone looking to extend there monitor onto a TV screen or projector this is the way to go.

Dropped my iPad, no damage. I added a screen protector to protect the screen.

This bag is exactly what we needed. Our projector fits perfectly and snug. Not worried about any damage happening. And plenty of pockets and space for accessories.

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great.

This simple devise does the trick by making the screen visible in sunlight. Depending on sun angle, we may have to tilt the screen or change our video angle a bit, but in all cases we were able to clearly see the screen over a full week of shooting in sunlight. Works great in sunlight. Magnets hold tight. I just wish my lcd screen on my D800 was a bit higher in resolution. Maybe a D810 in my future.

I sorta thought this was gimicky till I got it. Shooting landsacapes or birds can be difficult to see the screen in sunlight, this is perfect around the neck with magnetic attachment when you need to chimp your shot for sharpness, light, composition etc.. Highlights areas that would otherwise require downloading to see on the screen. (and its too late to get another go at it) This will let you know for sure while still out in the field.
