Projector Screen With Roku

We use this projector screen in our church activities.

I installed them next to my projector screen and they sound great.

Anyone looking to extend there monitor onto a TV screen or projector this is the way to go.

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great.

Easy to install and use. I do miss the aquarium screen saver though. I still have it on my older Roku, wish I could get it on my new ones.

Replaced our Firestick with Roku and was very pleased with the on screen navigation through the apps.

The room is too small for a big surround system, and the speaker in the projector isn't very good. This device is just what I needed. It set up just like another Roku device. It is only like 10" long so it will fit anywhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With theaters shut down this past year, I wanted to get the theater screen feel at home. I had an older projector that only had a VGA connection. I wanted to connect my Roku so that I could stream and use the projector to give me that theater feel when watching movies. This simple adapter made that possible. The HDMI connection on the adapter attached to my Roku, then I used one of my old VGA cables to attach the other end of the adapter to the projector. The adapter also has an RCA jack to connect audio to the projector if so desired. I connected the optical from my Roku to my surround sound, so I did not need to use it. Also, if you are utilizing a low voltage HDMI source, adapter has a micro USB connection to give that extra power if needed.

This screen assembles easily and can be done by one person. A great pairing with the Aaxa P6X projector.
