Prop Up Computer Keyboard

I needed a keyboard for my new iPad Air and this is perfect. It doesn't add too much weight and the prop-up still works without the keyboard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great looking and very sturdy case.  The upper frame completely encloses the iPad and has a magnetic space for the Apple Pencil.  The frame can easily adjust to prop the screen at different angles.  I really like that you can detach the keyboard completely from the ipad and still have a frame to prop up the screen – makes it easy to use iPad in bed, or on a plane without the key board.  The keyboard has a sleek look, excellent feel and profile and gentle sound, and the backlighting is great.  The expansive palm rest and big touch pad is very comfortable and user friendly – however, in some tight places the keyboard might take up too much space.  Still, you can always detach it.

Up until the purchase of this keyboard I was using the built in keyboard on my laptop. I recently began a new job that provided this keyboard and as soon as I used it I knew I had to have it for my home use! (I am a full time student who is in a degree that requires a large amount of writing.) The keys have a good amount of travel and a very satisfying touch response, with just the right amount of noise, not too loud at all for a mechanical keyboard. I can use this for hours and hours and not feel uncomfortable! HIGHLY recommend.

I bought the i7 version with 32 gig of RAM. Build quality is excellent. Very lightweight for the performance. Runs cooler than any laptop I have ever owned. My one complaint is the lack of dedicated Page Up/Down Home and End keys. You have to press a function key in combination with one of the four cursor arrow keys to move up or down quickly. My 2020 HP Spectre X360 is almost exactly the same size as the Dragonfly, yet HP managed to fit dedicated Home, End and Page Up/Down keys on the keyboard. For a high end laptop like the Dragonfly, it's inexplicable that they could not fit dedicated versions of these four frequently used keys on the keyboard. Other than this one issue, the laptop is fast and a perfect travel companion. The built in full size HDMI port is a nice touch for connecting an external monitor or projector. The touchpad is responsive and accurate. Battery life is great so far. Despite my one complaint about the keyboard, I would buy it again, but for this price, one expects perfection, not almost perfection.

This is the second Zagg Case/Keyboard I have owned. It’s the only keyboard that I have found that allows me to type as I would on a full sized computer keyboard.

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

You can use it to prop up your busted coffee table.

The prop stand is not very efficient, everything else is great.

IT WAS EASY TO HOOK UP TO MY COMPUTER. ALTHOUGH I HAD SOME ISSUES WITH THE WIRED CONNECTION, WHEN I WENT TO BLUETOOTH IT SOLVED MY PROBLEM. THE UNIT SHUTS DOWN AFTER SITTING IDLE FOR A WHILE, SO I HAVE TO TURN IT ON WHEN NEEDING IT. SAVES ELECTRICTY AND LONG TIME RUNS, I GUESS. THE SOUND IS GREAT, I IMAGINE IT WOULD BE EXCELLENT FOR LISTENING TO MUSIC.
