Proper Studio Monitor Setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this so I could have a proper studio setup and with the bigger desk I got it’s a perfect match! Fits well with my SM7B and I have been using it everyday for recording tracks and chatting with the mates! 10/10 Beyond happy with the quality of this boom arm.

I use this monitor with DaVinci Resolve for color grading when I'm not able to access a proper setup, and this monitor is the best thing you can get for under a thousand dollars. Good size and resolution for using as a daily-driver as well. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants accurate color occasionally but can't shell out the $1500 for a scientific display and a Blackmagic PCI-E card.

This is my first studio monitor setup and it is wonderful! The isolation pads are more essential than I thought. Everything come quickly, setup beautifully, and works flawlessly.

This studio monitor control may be passive, but its knob is anything but. Simple setup, minimal cables. Elegant buttons, and one glorious beast of a knob with butter smooth movement.

I use this mostly in studio settings for reflecting and such. Works like a charm! The iteam can be fragile but with proper care will last many moons.

This is my first set of proper studio monitors. Previously, I had been using Sony bookshelf speakers with a subwoofer and a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 990 pro headphones. I really like these JBL 306 monitors. In my 10x10 room these speakers produce plenty of bass, even for electronic music a subwoofer would be overkill. I bought mine on sale for $240, yet I think they are worth at least the $400 original price tag. For small to medium studios I think these 306’s are perfect, I think the 308’s would be a waste of money and a waste of space.

I use this in my post-production Audio/Video Studio. I know my equipment is running at the proper voltage and most of all protected by brown outs, power outages, etc. I love to just glance and see the gauge lights of how my electricity is running into the building. I've been using Tripp-Lite products since the Early 1990's and will only purchase Tripp-Lite. A+++ Rating.

Very great industry standard speakers. Provides a proper flat sound for studio production.
