I replaced my hot-light setup with this kit and I am very happy. The equipment is sturdy and well constructed and the carry case is lightweight yet sturdy with a small footprint. The lighting temperature and intensity can be easy adjusted to match any situation that you encounter. The option to switch between the barn doors and the softer diffusers makes the kit perfect for video and photography shoots. Upon arrival my kit was found to be missing the remote control unit. I contacted GVM directly and they took care of this immediately by overnighting a remote control unit to me. This is a great lighting setup for the price range with customer support that backs up their product. 5 |

Does the job very well. The One Monolight Kit may be a great starter kit, but I suspect it will be all I'll ever need for my purposes. Works great as a slave triggered by my flash unit. 5 |
