Ps2 Emulator Switch 2022

I took a chance buying this switch. I use it to switch the keyboard and video but I have a separate ps2 mouse on each machine. It works fine this way - and takes only a single USB slot to use it this way.

I purchased the XG24 direct from Ubiquiti in 2022. It's been solid since its install. All 24 copper ports support 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G so it makes a great core switch or server switch. I'm using mine as a connection point for 2 10G NASs and to feed network connectivity to UPSs. Under normal load it's a slight bit noisier than the USW-Agg Pro and runs a bit warmer. Neither the noise or heat has been an issue for me in a home office. However if the fans spool up, you'll certainly notice. Granted noise isn't normally a prime concern with a switch of this type. Overall for my use case I'm very happy and can recommend. If you need more than 4 ports of multi-gig and are tied into the Unifi system the XG24 is a good investment.

I purchased this switch in April 2022 and it has worked great ever since. All ports are connected, I have two computers and two nas connected in 2.5 gb including a nas in link aggregation. Video transfers are done at 295 MB/sec from pc to nas. Does not overheat during long transfers. I recommend mounting it vertically with the air vents up for more efficiency.

Since I still use PS2 KVM, I've tried a number of PS2--USB adapters. The Startech USBPS2PC is the most reliable I've seen. It works with most Win and Linux systems, even when operating at the BIOS level.

The number of inputs was good, not a bunch of OLD ps2 connector cables I didn't need. At a price that was competitive and fair.
