Ps4 Controller Ap

This is the best gimbal around for the price. It works great with a PS4 controller for wireless control.

Needed to go from headphones with separate mic and speaker inputs to PS4 controller. This adapter looks sturdy and works so far.

Using these devices at several locations including my home. By far the best AP for the $$. Can use the controller or the easy app for install. Reliable connections and easy to use configuration. Ubnt devices are rock solid.

I use this AP at my home - I get solid range throughout my 2 story home and basement. I would recommend in a heartbeat. A couple quirks: 1) if you do the setup through your android phone, you cannot use the PC based controller software. Not a big deal - but just something to know. I resolved by factory resetting the AP and then using the PC software to 'adopt' my AP. I can then connect to the PC controller with my android. 2) If your PC is low on memory, the PC controller will not run and will produce an error at startup. Deleted some things and made 10gigs free space, and then ran without any problems.

This AP puts out a strong signal across my property, and with a suitable 802.11ac receiver I am able to obtain up to 800Mbps of actual throughput. Configuration is dead simple; don't let people who don't understand what this device actually does fool you. It is NOT a gateway, and cannot be plugged directly into a modem/on a switch with a modem. You will need a separate firewall/gateway/DHCP server. Download the Ubiquiti app and follow the directions to configure it as a standalone (no controller is necessary for one or two APs, although the controller gets you more features.) All in all a great product at an extremely reasonable price.

My only remarks cautions are that it should have came with a paperclip type of tool to remove the AP from its ceiling mount. I've had the original UAP for around 4 years or so and found the AP and controller to be a great solution for my home network with 8 users and various home entertainment equipment. It was getting to have issues though. Not because of the equipment, even though the uplink was only 10BaseT, but 2.4 was getting really dirty in my location. Finally getting these new ones for under $ made this upgrade a no brainer.I can't say what it would be like for a new user since I already had my UniFi controller going on a Pi. My experience was fantastic though, found and adopted the router in no time flat.I don't know what I'll do if I can't get another to expand or replace. All the other good AP's are way too expensive and the home use ones are just so lame.

We bought a couple of these to replace a Netgear AP that was constantly needing a reboot. These were simple to install, and despite needing to download the controller software, the setup was painless. Performance has been spectacular and the controller software has a ton of features that makes these a steal for the price.
