We use this zoom controller with the main camera at our church. We also have the previous generation of this controller on our secondary camera. They made two noticeable improvements over the previous model. The first is the record button. If we take the camera on a shoot and it is being used as a standalone camera, the record button acts as a tally light. Not a groundbreaking improvement, but as an end-user of both products I noticed the improvement and appreciate it. The second improvement is the cable. The cable that connects this controller to the camera is a coiled cable. It makes the whole setup look nicer and you don't have all of the extra cable length to contend with. It has been a solid and reliable piece of hardware and as long as I have cameras that are compatible, I will not hesitate to purchase more of them. 5 |

This wheel feels sturdy, looks nice, and works well with my PS4. The button layouts are not obvious, however. They're not labeled for the PS4 at all, so you'll just have to memorize which button corresponds to circle, square, etc. Only L3 and R3 are labeled. I'm bummed that Need for Speed 2015 doesn't support any steering wheels for the PS4. But that's not Thrustmaster's fault. This wheel feels like it'll last a while. I like it. 5 |
