Moving from my on board RAID controller to a dedicated card was a game changer. Using my motherboard in RAID 0 had no problem with Sequential reads/writes, but the random reads were painfully slow. I moved to a PCI riser card (Gigabytes Aorus) so I could have more drives and a possible bonus of the bifurcated PCI lanes would be a bit quicker. Same performance. I finally bit the bullet and picked up this card. It has been FLAWLESS. The random read performance is within spitting distance of a single drive. Absolutely thrilled with this setup. fwiw: Asus x399-e Gaming Threadripper 1950x 970 Evo Plus 1TB drives Now I just need to get PCI4 capable stuff together so I can really put it through its paces 5 |

A high quality system with 2 motors and 3 controllers which can all work wirelessly or wired for about the cost of two decent mechanical follow focus gears. Each controller can be on its own channel and each channel can handle 4 motors (including 1 Nano motor), though no one controller can handle more than 3. You could, for example, add two Nano motors and run two rigs with one M and one Nano motor each, controlling one rig with the handles and the other with the FIZ unit. The system has virtually zero latency and is very precise, translating the slightest movements of the FIZ dial to tiny movements on the motor. I do wish I could manually calibrate from the handle. 5 |

It is totally stable!!! It not provides for dynamic movement maneuvering but it also makes a humongous difference in making camera movements a lot steadier as well as enhances complete image stabilization. 5 |
