Ps4 Racing Simulation Game

I no long play with my ps4 or xbox after I got this. this is a game changer

I first experienced flight simulation in 1998 with the Microsoft flight Simulation program. I'am retired now and became interested in flight simulation again and downloaded the MSFS 2020. My old control apparatus was not compatible with the new MSFS so I began searching for new controls. I was familiar with B H from purchasing photo equipment in years past. After contacting BH sales and being placed on a waiting list for a basic joystick I received notice of the availability of the one I recently purchased. Thanks B and H for getting me back on track.

Ordered as external drive for storing PS4 game data to access on PS5 console. Plug and Play, PlayStation setup was fast and painless. No issues with load times or in game performance. Very happy with purchase and always appreciate setting up devices without any surprises. Works exactly as expected. (just wish the included cable was a little longer)

I've gone my entire life without a proper wheel setup for racing games. As a kid I had a couple of those $30 mad catz steering wheels and never had a proper setup to utilize them. Even if I did the wheels were trash. Fast forward to now and I started thinking about racing setups to get me really into GT Sport. Since I'm limited on space I found a Playseat Challenge. The biggest plus about this is the storage size, along with having a proper seating position, unlike many of the cheaper setups out there that use a chair. Onto the wheel. I opted for this over the logitech due to the fact it's belt driven. No annoying clunks and ratcheting. Sure the logitech wheel looks better, but the thrustmaster wheel is perfect. Paddles are solid, feedback is great, noise level is perfect. I did buy the t3pa-pro pedals due to being able to position them like they are in a normal car, plus the all metal base/pedals are very nice. The first day of driving was a little strange, but quickly adaptable. Just adjusting pedals to my preference and overall seating position were the biggest obstacles at first. I had to learn how to drive with paddles for the first time as well. One thing with a wheel is if you're staying on track it's much easier to pull off consistent laps. In Day 2 on my first attempt I broke my Day 1 fastest lap time by 5 seconds. Day 3 I improved another second. Most of the top times compared to me are still 3 seconds faster, but you can definitely understand where you need to improve if you think about speed through corners, when to brake, feeling the tires at or before their breaking point. I wish I had this for as long as I've ever played any racing game. I do many player other genres on ps4 so GT isn't my primary game like a lot of GT players, but with a little patience you'll be having the most fun in a racing game in no time.

I received the shifter in new condition and within a reasonable time. It works great and makes my video game racing experience more exciting and fun. Great device.

Been racing with it for a couple of weeks, its awsome racing F1 with this wheel. The feeling really gets you in the game. Put it on the T300RS and it is worth every penny. Thanks for this great item

All tools are included in the box. Manual shifting is the heart of. Sim Racing. Don't have a shifter? Get one or replace that wonky shifter and get the TH8A by Thrustmaster.
