Ps4 Saved Data To External Hard Drive

Ordered as external drive for storing PS4 game data to access on PS5 console. Plug and Play, PlayStation setup was fast and painless. No issues with load times or in game performance. Very happy with purchase and always appreciate setting up devices without any surprises. Works exactly as expected. (just wish the included cable was a little longer)

I had to formatted it before use, don't care the software that come with..I delate everything it work perfect with my macbook pro. I've been using LaCie drives for about 25 years. These drives have always been very reliable. This drive is no exception. I recently replaced my 2013 MacPro with a new Mac Studio. When I replace my machines I also replace my external hard drives. Externals don't last forever. I feel that after 5+ years it's better to be safe than sorry. I bought this drive to use to hold my main data. Data transfer was reasonably quick. Editing photos stored on this drive I have not felt data transfer is slow or unreliable. Overall I highly recommend this LaCie external hard drive.

Purchased as a Time Machine external hard drive for my MacBook Pro. Works very well - plenty fast for backup tasks. Very quiet operation compared to the Western Digital drives I tried out. Great for long term storage of data as SSD drives are prone to data loss over time if not powered on regularly. Learned this the hard way :-/

I bought this to access data from orphan drives taken from my multi-bay external hard drive. It's easy to install a drive in the enclosure and my iMac immediately recognized the drive on startup. Transfer speeds were fine for my purpose (copying files from the drive). A good solution for me at a reasonable price.

The LaCie 8TB d2 external hard drive is well-built and reliable. This is my 8th LaCie external hard drive and I've never had one fail. I feel confident backing up data on these hard drives. While these are not as fast as SSD (solid state drives), they are less likely to lose data over time (SSD's will slowly discharge over time when not used and can lose data). Fast shipping by B&H.

This is a nice little external hard drive I use for data backup and transferring large files between computers. No external power is required which makes it very convenient, and it runs completely silent.
