Ps5 Controller Bad Stick Drift
Bruce | 2024-09-29 08:10:52 |
The quality of this HOTAS is fantastic. It's the same thing as the X-55 really. Less than ~3% drift on the stick easy to calibrate away. Within expected tolerance. No ghosting or drifting on the throttle. The X-55 was plagued with inadequate wiring that firmed up and broke away though. Logitech's buyout and rebuild of this product hopefully included the wiring. Only time will tell to be honest. But off-the-bat, its great. 5 |

I have 2 Charge 4; just got this Charge 5 and an Extreme 2. You should get my drift by now… THEY ROCK!!! 5 |

Love this controller (pairing it with matching flight stick t16000). I use it for Squadrons primarily, and it's fantastic. Very smooth, with TONS of easy to use (and differentiate) inputs for different setups and configurations. Even has a rudder switch if you want to use that instead of the 3rd axis on your flight stick. 5 |

Great ergonomics and price for this item. I mainly use the flight stick controller for DCS World and War Thunder. I highly recommend it for someone who wants get into it. 5 |

Awesome HOTAS controller! The movement of the stick is so much better than my previous controller. The switches, hats and buttons allow for endless configuring of your cockpit. Just buy it! 5 |

so portable but the power switch stick is so fragile I have to say this is a bad design for location recording... 5 |

I bought this controller to replace my LX mini which was ok for its sit and controlling features but a hassle to cover 3and 4 octaves . The 49 is great for controlling Studio One 6 pro i. It’s layers of control are well thought out and the footprint is 31.5 long so not bad. I like that I don’t have to press the octave button 3 or 4 times to use the full range of some of my Instrument Libraries. I am not a keyboard player and use this for writing and controlling software and it does that very well. The keyboard bed is better than the mini but still not on par with my Roland A500 Pro but like I said I don’t play keyboard well and the 49 is good enough for me and not bad. 5 |

I have used this several times to make labels for a lot of stuff. The only bad thing is so far the label sticks to everything but I have some planters it wont stick too. The glue could be a little stronger but other than that I love it. 5 |

I'm using this for MSFS 2020 right now and I'm pretty happy with it. I did a lot of research before spending this much money on a HOTAS and while it doesn't necessarily blow me away, I am very happy. The throttle slide isn't buttery smooth but it's certainly not bad at all. There are easy ways to improve that if you search online but it isn't bad enough for me to bother. The joystick is miles ahead of my oldschool Wingman Extreme 2 and I like it very much straight out of the box. I intended to use the paddle on the throttle for rudder control but I actually like the twist of the joystick for that. That doesn't mean the throttle isn't useful - it's covered in other controls and I use the small index finger stick for looking around a lot. If I were to buy again I might look for something with more buttons on the stick as opposed to each side of the stick because it requires me to let go of the stick to use the right 6 buttons. But this is doesn't mean they're useless by any means - I just need to program them for commands that aren't detrimental to letting go such as menu commands. Regardless - they're WAY better than using the keyboard. I also enjoy the flexibility of each piece having its own cable - although I do wish they were a bit longer. Overall, if you are new to flying games or simulators, I would strongly consider this HOTAS. While you could get by with a joystick alone, having the combination changes and improves the experience a great deal. And B&H is great, as always. 5 |

I know there are after market batteries for my camera that are cheaper, but I've had bad luck with them. As a rule, I always stick with the camera manufacturer's batteries for reliability. 5 |
